Longcheer: An Active Pioneer in Public Welfare
As a company with significant influence and a profound sense of social responsibility, Longcheer is dedicated to both corporate growth and public welfare. It remains actively engaged in charitable actions, fulfilling its pledge to “create values through technology”.
Longcheer’s Commitment to Education: Student Financial Aid Programs
Recognizing that talent cultivation is key to social advancement, Longcheer has been awarding academic scholarships to promising college students since 2010. This initiative aims to inspire students with scientific and managerial aptitude to strive for excellence. Initially, the scholarship was exclusive to Zhejiang University, but since 2024, it has also extended to students from six additional universities: Harbin Institute of Technology, Nanchang University, Anhui University, Shanghai University, Xidian University, and Guilin University of Electronic Technology. To date, the cumulative scholarship amount has surpassed one million yuan. In this program, Longcheer goes beyond being a mere founder; it invests time and effort to ensure its effectiveness. By continuously refining its selection process, broadening eligibility criteria, offering social service opportunities, providing internship and career guidance, and collaborating with universities on scientific research projects, Longcheer is committed to building a comprehensive, multi-faceted talent development system.
Longcheer’s Eco-Initiatives: Small Acts, Big Impact
In addition to its educational efforts, Longcheer contributes to public welfare in various other ways. By last December, several public interest projects had been launched.
In terms of sustainable development, Longcheer has donated ten thousand Haloxylon trees (Saxaul) to the Beijing-based Society of Entrepreneurs and Ecology (SEE), as a barrier against desertification and aid in the restoration of ecosystems in key desertified areas of Northwest China.
To assist vulnerable groups, Longcheer has partnered with the Jiangxi Red Cross Foundation and provided financial aids and great hope to patients in need and families affected by major and critical diseases. In collaboration with the Fujian-based Dandangzhe Foundation, Longcheer also funded ten book corners and conducted live-streaming classes for three rural primary schools in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, to broaden the horizons of local children.Furthermore, by donating computers to the Shanghai Zhonggu Charity and the Guangdong Provincial Education Foundation, Longcheer has made a significant impact on modernizing classroom teaching and improving computer literacy in remote areas, striving to bridge the digital divide.
These charity actions have not only improved the material conditions of the beneficiaries but also generated a wave of positive energy across the wider community. Looking forward, Longcheer will constantly create values through technology, explore more diverse approaches to public welfare for concurrent corporate and social progress, and contribute to building a better world for us all.
